How I Capture Smooth, Cinematic Drone Shots for My Clients

Drone footage looks great - but getting those clean, steady shots takes a bit of skill, some planning, and the right kit. Here’s how I go about it on client projects.

I plan the shots in advance

Before I fly, I scout the location and figure out the best angles, light and timing. That means less guesswork on the day and better results.

Golden hour is the winner

The light just after sunrise or before sunset gives a soft, cinematic feel that really elevates a shot.

The right gear makes a difference

I use drones with gimbals and 4K cameras to get that smooth, stable footage so no shaky clips here.

Safety comes first

Everything is licensed and insured, and I follow all Irish drone laws and guidelines. You’re in safe hands.

Edited to match your brand

Once I’ve captured the footage, I’ll cut it to suit your website, promo video or social content. I can also add music, colour grading and text if needed.

Final Thought

Drone footage doesn’t need to be complicated and it can seriously level up how your business looks online. If you’re curious about how it might work for you, give me a shout.
