About Project:
Bob, the founder of Monument Trees, approached me to design a website that would reflect the heart of his business offering people a meaningful, sustainable way to honour loved ones through the planting of trees. He envisioned a simple yet impactful site that would make it easy for customers to understand his mission and purchase monument trees online. This project was grounded in Bob’s wider branding, which already carried strong themes of nature, remembrance, and Ireland’s deep-rooted connection to the land. The website needed to feel calm, respectful, and emotionally resonant. I was proud to bring this vision to life through a digital platform that now serves as both an online sanctuary and a gateway to a beautiful rememberance of loved ones.
Ideation and Result:
The creative direction for the site was shaped by Bob’s existing brand aesthetic - earthy tones, natural textures, and serene imagery all carefully chosen to evoke peace, reflection, and a deep connection to place. Fonts and colours were selected to feel organic and grounded, mirroring the physical landscapes where the trees would be planted. I structured the site to be clear and inviting, allowing visitors to easily explore the story behind Monument Trees, understand the impact of rewilding, and purchase a tree in memory of a loved one. The purchasing journey was simplified to keep the experience smooth and respectful, free of clutter or unnecessary friction. Content was crafted to align with Bob’s mission: to restore harmony in nature while creating quiet sanctuaries of remembrance. His message was seamlessly woven into the design and tone of the site. Regular check-ins with Bob ensured the final product stayed true to his original vision. The result is a calm, purposeful website that embodies Monument Trees’ mission and invites users to contribute to a greener, more meaningful Ireland.
